Blank / no data showing when loading SmartViews Report

SmartViews Reports differ from SmartViews Views in that Reports do not display data unless a layout is created.

If the above screen is encountered when launching a View, ensure that a layout is selected by clicking the "Layout" button next to the Refresh / Data Connections button.  If there is no layout to select, a layout must be created.  To create a layout, click the "Home" tab, then click the "Edit Layout" button:

Once the layout is designed, you can simply close the tab and the layout will be loaded into the report:

To save the layout, click back to the "Print Preview" tab and then select Layout -> Save Layout:

You may set this as your default layout so it's automatically loaded when the report is ran.

When giving other users access to this report, it is necessary to also share this layout to them if they are not going to be creating their own layout for this report.  To do so, click Layouts -> Other -> Copy To...

Put a check mark next to the user(s) you want to copy this layout to and hit "Save".

Do not forget to Sync, and have your other users sync so they can use the shared layout(s).
