Part 1: Update an unposted job transaction
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar. The Select Form dialog box open.
2. Type unposted job in the Filter field.
3. Click the Unposted Job Transactions list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Unposted Job Transactions (Filter in place) form opens.
5. Click the Filter in Place icon.
6. Click the New icon.
7. Click the Transaction Type drop-down arrow.
8. Click the Setup list item.
9. Press Tab.
10. Type [your initials]* in the Job field.
11. Click the [your job number for the FA-10000] list item.
12. Verify FA-10000 is listed in the Item field.
13. Type 15 in the Operation field.
14. Type 13 in the Employee field on the Detail tab.
15. Type 1 in the Total Hours field.
16. Click the Save icon.
Part 2: Post transaction for this job order only
1. Click the Post Job Transactions button.
2. Type [your job number for the FA-10000] in the Starting Job field.
3. Press Tab.
4. Verify [your job number] is in the Ending Job field.
5. Click the Process button. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Post Job Transactions] will be
performed.”
6. Click the OK button. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Post Job Transaction(s)] was
successful.”
7. Click the OK button.
8. Click the Window drop-down arrow on the menu bar.
9. Click the Close All list item.
Part 3: View transactions
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar. The Select Form dialog box open.
2. Type job orders in the Filter field.
3. Click the Job Orders list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Job Orders (Filter in Place) form opens.
5. Type [your job number for the FA-10000] in the Job field.
6. Click the Filter in Place icon
7. Click the Ellipsis (…).
8. Click the Job Transactions button. The Job Transactions (Linked) form opens.
Review the job labor posting.
9. Click the Window drop-down arrow.
10. Click the Close All list item
