How to turn on Roaming Profile for SmartViews

(Note: user must be running version 4.3.1.0 or later)

Purpose: SmartViews uses local cache files to store its info. It always saved to the root directory where SmartViews is installed. Each user will have their own file and in a terminal server environment (i.e. Remote Desktop) this could mean a local copy on each server. To remove having multiple user copies on each server and only have one, use the following registry switch.

    1.     To enable the local cache file to be saved to the users profile path, add this registry for the user:

UseUserProfilePath

REG_SZ

Note: This will use the standard AppData directory defined for the user, which is defined in this registry.
