Return material to vendor and receive replacement material from vendor

Part 1: Return material back to the vendor 
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type vendor rma in the Filter field.
3. Click the Vendor RMAs list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Vendor RMAs (Filter in Place) form opens. 
5. Click the Filter in Place icon.
6. Click to select [your VRMA number for the AL-10000] in the grid.
7. Click the Reference tab.
8. Click the X-Ref PO button. A dialog box opens with the message, “Do you want to create a new 
PO? Selecting No will reference the original PO.”
9. Click the No button. The PO Num field is now populated with the PO you created.
10. Click the Return Matl button. The QC VRMA Miscellaneous Issue (Modal) form opens.
11. Verify QUA is selected in the Reason field.
12. Verify 11650 is select in the Account field.
13. Verify QC INSP is selected in the Location field.
14. Click the Process button. A dialog box opens with the message, “Transaction Date must be 
between [mm-dd-yyyy] and [mm-dd-yyyy]. Should [Update] be performed?”
15. Click the Yes button. A dialog box opens with the message, “Do you want to print the packing slip 
now?”
16. Click the Yes button. A “[Miscellaneous Issue] was successful” toast message displays. 
17. The QC VRMA Packing Slip opens in a new tab.
18. Click the Close (X) button on the report tab to close. A dialog box opens with the message, 
“Report Submitted”
19. Click the OK button. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Miscellaneous Issue] was 
successful.”
20. Click the OK button. The QC VRMA Miscellaneous Issue (Modal) form closes. You are returned 
to the Vendor RMAs form.
Part 2: Receive new materials using original PO
1. Click the Receive Matl button. The QC VRMA Miscellaneous Receipt (Modal) form opens.
2. Verify QC INSP is selected in the Location field.
3. Verify [Your Lot Number] is selected in the Lot field.
4. Verify RTS is selected in the Reason field.
5. Verify 11650 is select in the Account field.
6. Click the Receive button. A dialog box opens with the message, “Transaction Date must be 
between [mm-dd-yyyy] and [mm-dd-yyyy]. Should [Update] be performed?”
7. Click the Yes button. A dialog box opens with the message, “Item Stockroom Location that has 
[Whse: MAIN] and [Item: AL-10000] and [Location: QC INSP] does not exist. [Add] will be 
performed for Item Stockroom Location.”
8. Click the OK button. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Create Receiver] was successful for 
AL-10000 that has [Receiver Num: XXX] and [Location: QC INSP].” 
9. Click the OK button. A “[Miscellaneous Receipt] was successful.” toast message displays.
10. Click the OK button. The QC VRMA Miscellaneous Receipt (Modal) form closes. You are 
returned to the Vendor RMAs form.
11. Click the Status drop-down arrow.
12. Click the Closed list item. 
13. Click the Save icon.
14. Click the Close (X) button on the Vendor RMAs form.
