Add current operations

Part 1: Create operation 10, welding
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar. The Select Form dialog box opens.
2. Type items in the Filter field.
3. Click the web.Items list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Items form opens.
5. Click the Filter in Place icon.
6. Type [your initials]-DCBT-100 in the Item field.
7. Click the Filter in Place icon. The Item record displays for your Deluxe Child Bicycle Trailer.
8. Click the Production menu drop-down arrow.
9. Click the Current Operations menu option. The Current Operations (Linked) form opens.
10. Type [your initials] in the WC field.
11. Click the WC drop-down arrow.
12. Click the [your initials]-DWW list item.
13. Type .5 in the Machine Hours per Piece field.
Part 2: Create operation 20, painting
1. Click the New icon.
2. Type [your initials] in the WC field.
3. Click the WC drop-down arrow.
4. Click the [your initials]-DWP list item.
5. Type .5 in the Machine Hours per Piece field.
6. Type 2 in the Setup field in the Hours section.
7. Click the Resources menu option.
8. Type [your initials] in the Setup Resource Group field in the Resource Setup section.
9. Click the Setup Resource Group drop-down arrow.
10. Click the [your initials]-DCBT-RGP list item.
Note: Setup will not be applied unless you select a value here.
Part 3: Create operation 30, assembly
1. Click the Details menu option.
Note: If you miss this step, you will create a new record in the Resources grid instead of a new 
current operations record
2. Click the New icon.
3. Type [your initials] in the WC field.
4. Click the WC drop-down arrow.
5. Click the [your initials]-DWA list item.
6. Type .5 in the Labor Hours per Piece field.
7. Verify Labor is displayed in the Sched Driver field.
8. Click the Save icon.
9. Click the Window drop-down arrow on the menu bar.
10. Click the Close All list item
