Create a job order

Part 1: Turn off revision tracking for the FA-10000
1. Click the Open icon.
2. Type items in the Filter field.
3. Click the Items list item.
4. Click the OK button. The (Filter in Place) form opens.
5. Type FA-10000 in the Item field.
6. Click the Filter in Place icon.
7. Click to clear the Revision Track check box.
8. Click the Save icon.
9. Click the X on the Items form.
Part 2: Create a new Job Order and BOM for the FA-10000
1. Click the Open icon.
2. Type job orders in the Filter field.
3. Click the Job Orders list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Job Orders (Filter in Place) form opens.
5. Click the Filter in Place icon.
6. Click the New icon.
7. Type [your initials]? In the Job field.
8. Type FA-10000 in the Item field.
9. Type 10 in the Released field.
10. Click the Status drop-down arrow.
11. Click the Released list item.
12. Click the calendar icon in the Start field. A calendar displays with the current month and year 
visible.
13. Click the [today’s date] option. The Start field populates.
14. Click the Save icon. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Copy Current BOM] will be 
performed.”
15. Click the OK button.
Write down your job number ______________.
Part 3: Enter a scheduled end date
1. Click the Ellipsis (…).
2. Click the Operations button. The Job Operations (Linked) form opens.
3. Click to select the Operation 30 row.
4. Verify PG-300 is selected in the WC field.
5. Click the calendar icon in the End Date field. A calendar displays with the current month and 
year visible.
6. Click the [one week from today’s date] option. The End Date field populates.
7. Click the Save icon.
8. Click the Window drop-down arrow on the menu bar.
9. Click the Close All list item.
