Part 1: Update Customer Parameters
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type customer par in the Filter field.
3. Click the Customer Parameters list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Customer Parameters form opens.
5. Click the Create Receiver by Item or Order drop-down arrow.
6. Click the Item list item.
7. Click the Save icon.
8. Click the Close (X) button on the Customer Parameters form.
Part 2: Create a new receiver
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type create qc in the Filter field.
3. Click the Create QC Receiver list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Create QC Receiver form opens.
5. Click the Ref Type drop-down arrow.
6. Click the O list item. Note: The Item field is enabled, and the CO field is disabled.
7. Type mb* in the Item field.
8. Click the Item drop-down arrow.
9. Click the MB-11000 list item.
10. Type 20 in Quantity Received field.
11. Click the Location drop-down arrow.
12. Click the FIN-1 list item.
13. Click the Process button. The QC Receipt Tags Report opens in a new tab.
14. Click the X on the report tab to close. The Customer Receiver Information form opens.
15. Click the Close (X) button on the Customer Receiver Information form.
16. Click the Close (X) button on the Create QC Receiver form.
Part 3: Record test results
1. Click the Form drop-down arrow.
2. Click the Inspect Disposition list item. The Inspect Disposition form opens.
3. Click the [receiver number created for the quantity of 20] from the grid.
4. Click the Record Tests/Defects button. The Test Results Entry (Linked) form opens.
5. Click the Inspector ID drop-down arrow.
6. Click the 2 list item.
7. Click the Generate Tests list item. A dialog box opens with the message, “Test set creation
succeeded.”
8. Click the OK button.
9. Click to select the Complete check box in the grid.
10. Type 20 in the Qty Tested field.
11. Type 1 in the Qty Failed field.
12. Type 7 in the Actual Min field.
13. Click the Save icon.
14. Click the Close (X) button on the Test Results Entry (Linked) form. You are returned to the
Inspect Disposition form.
Part 4: Disposition receiver to an MRR
You will disposition all 20 bikes directly to QC MRR/Hold.
1. Click the Disposition QC Receiver button. The Disposition Receiving (Linked) form opens.
2. Click the Inspector drop-down arrow.
3. Click the 2 list item.
4. Type 20 in the Quantity field under the QC MRR/Hold section.
5. Press Tab. The Reason field displays.
6. Click the Reason drop-down arrow.
7. Click the MRRHOLD list item.
8. Verify the New MRR check box is selected.
9. Click the Process button. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Create] was successful for
MRR that has [MRR Number: XX]. Disposition Completed”.
10. Click the OK button. The QC Tags Report opens in a new tab.
11. Click the X on the report tab to close. A Report Submitted toast message displays.
12. Click the Actions drop-down arrow.
13. Click the Refresh current list item. Note: The Quantity On Hold field is now updated to display
the quantity of 20 you put on hold.
14. Click the QC MRRs button. The MRRs (Linked) form opens.
15. Type One part failed test. in the Problem Description field.
16. Type Bikes fell off the lift truck. in the Cause of Defect field.
17. Click the Save icon.
18. Click the Correction/Containment tab.
19. Type 20 pieces have been moved to defective location for review and steps to rework, if
applicable. in the Correction/Containment field.
20. Click the Save icon.
Part 5: Disposition MRR
1. Click the Disposition MRR button. The Disposition MRR (Linked) form opens.
2. Type 20 in the Quantity field in the QC Accepted section.
3. Press Tab. The Reason and Disposition fields display.
4. Click the Reason drop-down arrow.
5. Click the COMPLIES list item.
6. Click the Disposition drop-down arrow.
7. Click the ACCEPT list item.
8. Click to clear the Print Accept Tag check box.
9. Click the Process button. A [Create] was successful for COC that has ([COC Number: XX].
Disposition Completed toast message displays.
The COC is the certificate of conformance for the disposition which was set on the Items
form for this part. When a receiver is dispositioned as accepted, QCS will automatically link
to the COC.
The Quantity Accepted field now displays 20.00.
10. Click the calendar icon in the Close Date field. A calendar displays with the current month and
year visible.
11. Click the Today button. The Close Date field populates.
12. Click the Save icon.
13. Click the Close (X) button on the MRRs (Linked) form. The Inspect Disposition form displays.
14. Click the Actions drop-down arrow on the menu bar.
15. Click the Refresh current list item. Note: The Quantity on Hold field is now updated to display 0
while the Qty Accepted field displays the quantity of 20.00 that you accepted.
16. Click the Close (X) button on the Inspect Disposition form
