Replenish Kanban with purchase order

Part 1: Requesting replenishment for a Kanban
1. Open the Work Center Navigation Home form. 
2. Select the Kanban icon on the left side of the form.
3. Click Replenishment Requests. The Kanban Replenishment Request form opens.
4. Select <the first Kanban in the list from Exercise 5.3, Part 3, Step 4 above> in the Kanban
field. The Kanban item and location details are displayed.
5. Click the green Process icon. A message displays,” Process Successful.”
6. Click OK.
7. A replenishment request is created for the selected Kanban.
8. Click Close to return to the Work Center Navigation Home form.
Part 2: Generating a purchase order to fill the replenishment request for a Kanban
1. Verify the Kanban icon on the left side of the Work Center Navigation Home form is selected to 
display the available menu buttons. If not, select it.
2. Click Generate Kanban Replenishment. The Generate Kanban Replenishment form displays.
3. Verify Purchase Order is selected from the Replenishment Source drop-down list. The Kanban 
item and location details are displayed.
4. Type CU-10000 in the Item field under the Starting column.
5. Type CU-10000 in the Item field under the Ending column.
Note: Leave the remaining filter criteria blank to select all requests.
6. Click the green Process icon. A message displays, “ Create was successful for Purchase Order 
that has [PO:DP00000306]and [Line#3].”
7. Click OK.
8. Click Close to return to the Work Center Navigation Home form.
Part 3: Moving Kanban items to staging locations
1. Verify the Kanban icon on the left side of the Work Center Navigation Home form is selected to 
display the available menu buttons. If not, select it.
2. Click Kanban Staging. The Kanban Staging form displays.
3. Select <the first Kanban in the list from Exercise 5.3, Part 3, Step 4 above> in the Kanban
field. The information about the selected Kanban is displayed in the Details section.
4. Type 20 in the Quantity Picked field for the PUR-1 Location line.
5. Click the green Process icon.
6. Click Close to return to the Work Center Navigation Home form.
Part 4: Receiving replenishment items for a Kanban
1. Verify the Kanban icon on the left side of the Work Center Navigation Home form is selected to 
display the available menu buttons. If not, select it.
2. Click Kanban Receipt. The Kanban Receipt form displays.
3. Select <the first Kanban in the list from Exercise 5.3, Part 3, Step 4 above> in the Kanban
field.
4. Type KLOC01 in the Confirm Kanban Location field.
5. Type 20 in the Receipt Quantity field.
6. Click the green Process icon. A message displays, “[Kanban Receipt] was successful.”
7. Click OK.
8. Click Close to return to the Work Center Navigation Home form
