Part 1: Requesting replenishment for a Kanban
1. Open the Work Center Navigation Home.
2. Click the Kanban icon on the left side.
3. Click Replenishment Requests. The Kanban Replenishment Requests form displays.
4. Select <the first Kanban in the list from Exercise 5.2, Part 3, Step 4 above> in the Kanban
field. The Kanban item and location details are displayed.
5. Click the green Process icon. A message display,” Process Successful.”
6. Click OK. A replenishment request is created for the selected Kanban.
7. Click Close to return to the Work Center Navigation Home form.
Part 2: Receiving replenishment items for a Kanban from just-in-time production
1. Verify the Kanban icon on the left side of the Work Center Navigation Home form is selected to
display the available menu buttons. If not, select it.
2. Click Kanban JIT Replenishment. The Kanban JIT Replenishment form displays.
3. Select Bike 10 from the Replenishment Location drop-down list. Under the Replenishment
Request section the Item, Kanban Status, and Quantity are displayed. The Request number,
Work Center Location and Kanban Location are displayed under the Details section.
4. Click the green Process icon. A message displays, “Kanban JIT Replenishment was successful.”
Note: On the Transaction Set Maintenance form select the Transaction Name SF Kanban JIT
Replenishment. If the Create Kanban Receipt parameter is selected, the items are received at the
Kanban location, and the request status is changed to Closed. If this parameter is cleared, the
items must be received in a separate transaction, and the request status is changed to Staged.
5. Click Close if the Kanban Label Printing form displays. The Kanban JIT Replenishment form
displays.
6. Click Close to return to the Work Center Navigation Home form
