Start and stop setup activities for a job operation

Part 1: Starting setup activities
1. Open the Work Center Navigation Home form.
2. Select the Labor icon on the left-side of the form.
3. Click Start Setup. The Start Setup form displays.
4. Select DJ00000140 from the Job drop-down list. The Item number and description are 
displayed in the Details section.
5. Verify 0 is in the Suffix field. If not, select it.
6. Select 40 from the Operation drop-down list. The Work Center where the operation will be 
performed is displayed in the Details section.
7. Click the green Process icon. A message displays, “[Start Setup] was successful.” This starts the
setup activity for the selected operation.
8. Click OK. The Work Center Navigation Home form displays.
Part 2: Stopping setup activities
1. Click End Setup. The End Setup form displays.
2. Verify DJ00000140 displays in the Job field. The Item number and description are displayed in 
the Details section.
3. Verify 0 is in the Suffix field. If not, select it.
4. Verify 40 displays in the Operation field. The Work Center where the operation will be 
performed is displayed along with the Start Time and the Elapsed Time.
5. Click the green Process icon. A message displays, “[End Setup] was successful.” This stops
setup activity for the selected operation.
6. Click OK.
Select Combine Labor and Machine Time to automatically report or create the machine 
time record for the same length of time as the labor record.
