Configure payroll schedules

Part 1: How to create a new Payroll Schedule
1. Open the Payroll Schedules form.
2. Click the New icon.
3. Type ST_[your initials] in the Payroll ID field.
4. Type ST_[your initials] Weekly Payroll in the Description field.
5. Click the Facility drop-down list.
6. Click the ST_[your initials] list item.
7. Click the Payroll Generation drop-down list.
8. Click the Weekly list item.
9. Verify Single Record per Employee is selected in the Extract Structure field.
10. Verify Hours/Minutes is selected in the Hours Format field. 
11. Click Save.
12. Click Generate Payroll Schedules. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Generate Payroll 
Schedules] was successful.”
13. Click OK. 
14. Click View Payroll Calendar. The Calendar form opens. Notice the color coding of the weekly 
payroll calendar.
15. Close the Calendar.
Part 2: Update Payroll Schedule 100 with current year for the exercises to follow
1. Return to the Payroll Schedules form.
2. Click the row for Payroll Id 100 from the left pane.
3. Click Generate Payroll Schedules. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Generate Payroll 
Schedules] was successful.”
4. Click OK. 
5. Click View Payroll Calendar. The Calendar form opens. Notice the color coding of the weekly 
payroll calendar.
6. Close the Calendar form. This returns you to the Payroll Schedules form.
7. Close the Payroll Schedules form.
