Create a Control Plan and Control Plan Tests

1. Click the New icon.
2. Type sa* in the Item field.
3. Click the Item drop-down arrow.
4. Click the SA-55000 list item. Note: the Ref Type defaults to J.
5. Click the Operation drop-down arrow.
6. Click the 40 list item.
7. Type 10 in the Test Seq field.
8. Click the Inspection Frequency drop-down arrow.
9. Click the NA list item.
10. Click the Save icon.
11. Click the Control Plan Tests (QC Item Tests) button. The Control Plan Tests (QC Item Tests) 
(Linked) form opens.
12. Click the Sev Level drop-down arrow.
13. Click the COSMETIC list item.
14. Click the Gauge Group drop-down arrow.
15. Click the VISUAL list item.
16. Click the Equipment drop-down arrow.
17. Click the EYES list item.
18. Click the Test Method drop-down arrow.
19. Click the Visual list item.
20. Click the calendar icon in the QA Effective Date field. A calendar displays with the current month 
and year visible.
21. Click the [today’s date] option. The QA Effective Date field populates.
22. Type Visually Inspect Entire Assembly in the Characteristic field.
23. Click the Save icon.
24. Click the Close (X) button on the Control Plan Tests (QC Item Tests) (Linked) form.
25. Click the New icon.
26. Type sa* in the Item field.
27. Click the Item drop-down arrow.
28. Click the SA-55000 list item. Note: the Ref Type defaults to J.
29. Click the Operation drop-down arrow.
30. Click the 70 list item.
31. Type 10 in the Test Seq field.
32. Click the Inspection Frequency drop-down arrow.
33. Click the NA list item.
34. Click the Save icon.
35. Click the Control Plan Tests (QC Item Tests) button. The Control Plan Tests (QC Item Tests) 
(Linked) form opens.
36. Click the Sev Level drop-down arrow.
37. Click the LEVEL 2 list item.
38. Click the Gauge Group drop-down arrow.
39. Click the SCALES list item.
40. Click the Equipment drop-down arrow.
41. Click the STANDING SCALE list item.
42. Click the Test Method drop-down arrow.
43. Click the Weigh list item.
44. Type 23.5 in the Expected Minimum field.
45. Type 24 in the Expected Nominal field.
46. Type 24.5 in the Expected Maximum field.
47. Click the calendar icon in the QA Effective Date field. A calendar displays with the current month 
and year visible.
48. Click the [today’s date] option. The QA Effective Date field populates.
49. Type Weigh Each Finished Assembly in the Characteristic field.
50. Click the Save icon.
51. Click the Close (X) button on the Control Plan Tests (QC Item Tests) (Linked) form.
52. Click the Close (X) button on the Control Plan (QC Items) for
