Create a customer RMA receiver

Part 1: Create a Control Plan for a Ref Type R-Customer RMA
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar. 
2. Type control plan in the Filter field.
3. Click the Control Plan (QC Items) list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Control Plan (QC Items) Filter in Place form opens.
5. Click the Filter in Place icon.
6. Click the New icon.
7. Type mb* in the Item field.
8. Click the Item drop-down arrow.
9. Click the MB-11000 list item.
10. Click the Ref Type drop-down arrow.
11. Click the R list item.
12. Type RMA ALERT in the Alert field.
13. Click the Inspection Frequency drop-down arrow.
14. Click the NA list item.
15. Click the Save icon.
16. Click the Close (X) button on the Control Plan (QC Items) form.
Part 2: Automatically create an RMA customer receiver
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type rma return in the Filter field.
3. Click the RMA Return Transaction list item.
4. Click the OK button. The RMA Return Transaction form opens.
5. Type [your initials] in the RMA field.
6. Click the RMA drop-down arrow.
7. Click the [your RMA number] list item. The lines associated with the RMA display in the grid 
below.
8. Click to select the Selected check box.
9. Verify the Location is QC INSP.
10. Click the Receive button.
11. The QC Receipt Tags Report opens in a new tab.
12. Click the X on the report tab to close. A dialog box opens with the message, “1 Transaction(s) 
were posted. 0 Transaction(s) were invalid.”
13. Click the OK button. A dialog box opens with the message, 
“[Create Receiver] was successful for MB-11000 that has [Receiver Num: XXX] and Location [QC 
INSP]. 
[Create] was successful for MRR that has [MRR Number: XX]. 
RMA ALERT”.
Write the receiver number here_________________. 
Write the MRR number here_________________. 
“RMA ALERT” appears as a result of the alert that was placed on the QC Items form for this 
item and can be updated to include any details to display when an RMA Receiver transaction 
takes place.
14. Click the OK button. The Customer Receiver Information form displays.
15. Click the Close (X) button on the Customer Receiver Information form.
16. Click the Close (X) button on the RMA Return Transaction form.
