Disposition an RMA to an MRR

Part 1: Add new ACCEPTED reason code for Ref Type of R
1.Click the Open icon on the toolbar. 
2. Type reason codes in the Filter field.
3. Click the Reason Codes list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Reason Codes form opens. 
5. Click the New button.
6. Click the Status drop-down arrow.
7. Click the ACCEPTED list item.
8. Click the Ref Type drop-down arrow.
9. Click the R list item.
10. Type RFC in the Reason field.
11. Type Returned from customer in the Description field.
12. Click the Save icon.
13. Click the Close (X) button on the Reason Codes form.
Part 2: Add new RFC disposition code
Exercises in this course are structured for multiple learners in a multi-tenant environment.
Only one person can perform the steps to add a QC disposition code. We recommend you 
do the exercise steps and if the setup has been performed take the time to review the setup 
steps.
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar. 
2. Type qc disp in the Filter field.
3. Click the QC Disposition Codes list item.
4. Click the OK button. The QC Disposition Codes form opens. 
5. Click the New button.
6. Click the Status drop-down arrow.
7. Click the ACCEPTED list item.
8. Click the Ref Type drop-down arrow.
9. Click the R list item.
10. Type RFC in the Disposition Code field.
11. Click the Material Action drop-down arrow.
12. Click the MOVE list item.
13. Type RMA return in the Description field.
14. Click the Save icon.
15. Click the Close (X) button on the QC Disposition Codes form.
Note: The setting that allows this exercise to work correctly, comes from the Customer 
Parameters under the QC Customer RMA section, the Create MRRs at RMA Return check box 
is selected. 
Part 3: Disposition the RMA for MRR
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar. 
2. Type inspect dis in the Filter field.
3. Click the Inspect Disposition list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Inspect Disposition form opens. 
5. Click the Filter in Place button.
6. Click [your RMA receiver] list item. The RMA receiver information displays. 
7. Click the QC MRRs button. The MRRs (Linked) form opens. 
8. Type Customer has returned one bike for credit. Please inspect before returning to inventory. in 
the Problem Description field.
9. Click the Save icon.
10. Click the Disposition MRR button. The Disposition MRR (Linked) form opens.
11. Click the Inspector drop-down arrow.
12. Click the 2 list item. 
13. Type 2 in the Quantity field in the QC Accepted section. 
14. Press Tab. The Reason and Disposition fields display.
15. Click the Reason drop-down arrow.
16. Click the RFC list item. 
17. Click the Disposition drop-down arrow.
18. Click the RFC list item. 
19. Click to clear the Print Accept Tag check box.
20. Click the Process button. A dialog box opens with the message, “Disposition Completed”.
21. Click the OK button. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Quantity Move] will be performed.” 
22. Click the OK button. A dialog box opens with the message, “Item Stockroom Location that has 
[Whse: MAIN] and [Item: MB-11000] and [Location: QC HOLD] does not exist. [Add] will be 
performed for Item Stockroom Location.”
23. Click the OK button. A dialog box opens with the message, “On Hand is 0.00000000 and will be -
1.00000000 for Item Stockroom Location that has [Whse: MAIN] and [Item: MB-11000] and 
[Location: QC HOLD].
24. Click the OK button. The Quantity Move (Modal) form opens.
25. Click the To Location drop-down arrow.
26. Click the FIN-1 list item. 
27. Click the Process button. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Quantity Move] was 
successful.”
28. Click the OK button.
29. The MRRs (Linked) form displays.
30. Click the Close (X) button on the MRRs (Linked) form. The RMA Inspect/Disposition form 
displays and the Quantity On Hold field still displays 1.00.
31. Click the Actions drop-down arrow on the menu bar.
32. Click the Refresh current list item. The form updates the values. 
Verify 1.00 is displayed in the Qty Accepted.
33. Click the Close (X) button on the RMA Inspect/Disposition form
