Create a fixed asset record

1. Click the Open icon. The Select Form dialog box opens.
2. Type fixed assets in the Filter field.
3. Click the Fixed Assets list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Fixed Assets (Filter in Place) form opens.
5. Click the Filter in Place icon.
6. Click the New icon.
7. Type [your initials]-J23478 in the Asset Number field.
8. Type Corporate Jet #23478 in the Description field.
9. Verify Regular is selected in the Asset Type field.
10. Click the Status Code drop-down arrow.
11. Click the New list item.
12. Click the Class Code drop-down arrow.
13. Click the AVION 800 list item.
14. Type 1 Jetway Lane in the Location field.
15. Type 23478 in the Tag Number field.
16. Type 10 in the Useful Life: Year field.
17. Verify [today’s date] displays in the Date Acquired field.
18. Type Leer in the Manufacturer field.
19. Click the Save icon.
20. Write down your asset number _________________.
21. Click the Close (X) button on the Fixed Assets form
