1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type apqp in the Filter field.
3. Click the APQP Processes (QA Processes) list item.
4. Click the OK button. The APQP Processes (QA Processes) form opens.
5. Click the New icon.
6. Click the Type drop-down arrow.
7. Click the [your initials] Audit list item.
8. Type Engineering department in the Title field.
9. Click the Status drop-down arrow.
10. Click the Review Not Started list item.
11. Click the Save icon.
12. Write down your process number ______________.
Notice the Phases tab updates with the phase template names we created. Also notice the
Create and Start Dates are current dates while the Target Date is a future date. This date is
calculated based on the Target Days column listed on the Phases tab for each phase.
13. Click the Calculate button.
Notice the Projected Date populates. Initially, the Projected Date will be the same as the Target
Date but as you move through the phases the Calculate button can be clicked to provide
updated Projected Dates.
14. Click the Owner drop-down arrow.
15. Click the 1 list item.
16. Click the Originator drop-down arrow.
17. Click the 18 list item.
18. Type 100 in the Internal SOP# field.
19. Click the Save icon.
20. Click the CMR tab.
21. Click the Initial Change drop-down arrow.
22. Click the Documentation list item. Notice the requirements check boxes.
23. Click the Priority drop-down arrow.
24. Click the 2 list item.
25. Click the X-Ref CMR button. Notice the Change Num and CMR Num fields update.
26. Click the TRR tab.
27. Click the Initial Topic drop-down arrow.
28. Click the Audit list item.
29. Click the Priority drop-down arrow.
30. Click the 2 list item.
31. Click the X-Ref TRR button. Notice the Topic Num and TRR Num fields update.
32. Click the X-Ref tab.
33. Click the X-Ref button. The QA Process Cross Reference (Linked) form opens.
34. Click the Type drop-down arrow.
35. Click the Project list item.
Notice the drop-down list below Type changes. View the Projects in the drop-down list.
36. Click the Window icon.
37. Click the Close All list item.
