Part 1: Create a new QA Process Template
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type qa process template in the Filter field.
3. Click the QA Process Templates list item.
4. Click the OK button. The QA Process Templates form opens.
5. Click the New icon.
6. Type [your initials] - Audit in the Type field.
7. Type Internal audit for XYZ department in the Description field.
8. Click the Save icon.
Notice nothing is listed in the Phases grid at the bottom of the form.
Part 2: Add a QA Phase
1. Click the Phases button on the QA Process Templates form. The QA Phase Templates
(Linked) form opens.
2. Type [your initials] - Audit prep in the Name field.
3. Type 14 in the Duration field.
4. Click the New icon.
5. Type [your initials] - Audit in the Name field.
6. Type 3 in the Duration field.
7. Click the New icon.
8. Type [your initials] - Results in the Name field.
9. Type 7 in the Duration field.
10. Click the Save icon.
11. Click the [your initials] Audit prep row in the grid.
Part 3: Add a QA Phase Activity
1. Click Phase Activities button on the QA Phase Templates (Linked) form. The QA Phase
Activity Templates (Linked) form opens.
2. Type Team assignment in the Name field.
3. Click the New icon.
4. Type Select department to audit in the Name field.
5. Click the Save icon.
6. Click the X on the QA Phase Activity Templates (Linked) form. The QA Phase Templates
(Linked) form displays.
Notice the two activities that were created are listed in the Activities grid.
7. Click the X on the QA Phase Templates (Linked) form. The QA Process Templates form
displays.
Notice the three phases that we created are listed in the Phases grid.
8. Click the Close (X) button on the QA Process Templates form.
