Update the phase and phase activities

. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type apqp in the Filter field.
3. Click the APQP Processes (QA Processes) list item.
4. Click the OK button. The APQP Processes (QA Processes) form opens.
5. Verify you are on [your QA Process line] in the grid. The Type should start with your initials.
6. Click the Status drop-down arrow.
7. Click the Under Review list item.
8. Click the Save icon.
9. Click the Phases button. The QA Phases (Linked) form opens displaying the [your initials] -
Audit prep phase created. Notice the Activities table listed at the bottom. 
10. Click the Phases Activities button. The QA Phase Activities (Linked) form opens displaying 
the Team Assignment activity created.
11. Click the Dept Resource drop-down arrow.
12. Click the 400 list item.
13. Click the calendar icon in the Start Date field. A calendar displays with the current month and 
year visible.
14. Click the [today’s date] option. The Start Date field populates.
15. Click to select the Complete check box.
Notice we are not required to update any fields on this screen and when we select Complete, we 
do not need to save the record, the form automatically saves.
16. Click line 2 in the grid. This should be the phase to select a department.
17. Click the Dept Resource drop-down arrow.
18. Click the 500 list item.
19. Click the calendar icon in the Start Date field. A calendar displays with the current month and 
year visible.
20. Click the [first day of the next month] option. The Start Date field populates.
21. Click the calendar icon in the Due Date field. A calendar displays with the current month and 
year visible.
22. Click the [14th day of the next month] option. The Due Date field populates.
23. Select the Complete check box.
24. Click the X on the QA Phase Activities (Linked) form. The QA Phases (Linked) form displays. 
Notice that both Complete check boxes in the Activities table are now selected and 
Departments have been assigned.
25. Select the Complete check box. 
Notice we do not need to save the record; the form automatically saves.
26. Click line 2 in the grid. This should be the [your initials] - Audit phase. Notice there are no 
Activities that need to be completed.
27. Select the Complete check box. 
28. Click line 3 in the grid. This should be the [your initials] - Results phase. Notice there are no 
Activities that need to be completed.
29. Select the Complete check box. 
30. Click the X on the QA Phases (Linked) form. The QA Process form displays. 
Notice all of the Complete check boxes are selected under the Phases tab for each phase.
31. Click the Calculate button.
Notice the Projected Date populates with today’s date since we finished all the phases.
32. Click the Status drop-down arrow.
33. Click the Closed list item.
34. Click the Complete check box.
35. Click the Close (X) button on the APQP Processes (QA Processes) form
