Create inventory items

Create inventory items

Part 1: Enter new item [your initials]-SL-10000
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar. The Select Form dialog box opens.
2. Type items in the Filter field.
3. Click the Items list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Items (Filter in Place) form opens.
5. Click the Filter in Place icon.
6. Click the New icon.
7. Type [your initials]-SL-10000 in the Item field.
8. Type Hardened Steel Lock in the Description field.
9. Click the U/M drop-down arrow.
10. Click the EA list item.
11. Verify Material is selected from the Type drop-down list.
12. Click the Source drop-down arrow.
13. Click the Purchased list item.
14. Click the Product Code drop-down arrow.
15. Click the PP list item.
16. Click to select the Stocked check box.
17. Click the Save icon. 
18. Click the Controls tab.
19. Click to select the Reservable check box.
20. Click the Save icon.
Part 2: Enter new item [your initials]-PH-20000
1. Click the New icon.
2. Click the Main tab.
3. Use the table below to enter data for the [your initials]-PH-20000 item.

4. Click the Save icon.
5. Click the Controls tab.
6. Click to select the Backflush check box.
7. Click the Backflush Location drop-down arrow.
8. Click the FLOOR list item.
9. Click the Save icon.
10. Click the More tab.
11. Click the Compliance list item.
12. Click to select the Compliant check box for the RoHS compliance program.
13. Click the Save icon.
14. Click the X on the Items form
