1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type mrrs in the Filter field.
3. Click the MRRs list item.
4. Click the OK button. The MRRs (Filter In Place) form opens.
5. Click the Filter in Place icon.
6. Click to select [your MRR number for the FA-20000] in the grid.
7. Click the Correction/Containment tab.
1. Click the X-Ref CAR button. A dialog box opens with the message, “Do you want to create a CAR
for this MMR?” displays.
2. Click the OK button. A number displays in the CAR field.
3. Click the X-Ref CAR button. The CARs (Linked) form opens.
4. Type Employees watch scratched a bicycle frame. in the Description field.
5. Type Will follow up with employee. in the Initial Response field.
6. Click the calendar icon in the Response Due Date field. A calendar displays with the current
month and year visible.
7. Click the [date two days from the current date] option. The Response Due Date field
populates.
8. Click the Cause/Correction tab.
9. Type The employee was lifting the frame up to his shoulders and as he pulled his right hand away
his watch scratched the frame. in the Cause field.
10. Type New process implemented. in the Corrective Action field.
11. Click the Authorized By drop-down arrow.
12. Click the 5 list item.
13. Click the Prevention tab.
14. Type Employees to no longer wear jewelry on the shop floor. in the Implementation field.
15. Click the calendar icon in the QA Effective Date field. A calendar displays with the current
month and year visible.
16. Click the [date one day from the current date] option. The QA Effective Date field populates.
17. Click the Save icon.
18. Click the X-Ref Tests button. The CAR Cross Reference Tests (Linked) form opens.
19. Click the X-Ref button. The test results now display in the Tests Associated with this CAR
section.
20. Click Line 2 in the bottom grid.
21. Click the X-Ref button.
22. Click the Save icon. The test results are now directly connected to the CAR.
23. Click the Window icon.
24. Click the Close All list item
