Part 1: Enter transactions
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type unposted job in the Filter field.
3. Click the Unposted Job Transactions list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Unposted Job Transactions (Filter in place) form opens.
5. Click the Filter in Place icon.
6. Click the New icon.
7. Click the Transaction Type drop-down arrow.
8. Click the Run list item.
9. Press Tab.
10. Type [your initials] in the Job field.
11. Click the Job drop-down arrow.
12. Click the [your job number] list item.
13. Click the Operation drop-down arrow.
14. Click the 20 list item.
15. Type 6 in the Employee field.
16. Type 10 in the Completed field.
17. Press Tab.
18. Confirm 10 populated in the Moved field.
19. Type 5 in the Total Hours field.
20. Click the Save icon.
Part 2: Post job transaction
1. Click the Post Job Transactions button.
2. Type [your initials] in the Job Starting field.
3. Click the Job drop-down arrow.
4. Click the [your job number] list item.
5. Click the Process button. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Post Job Transactions] will be
performed.”
6. Click the OK button. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Post Job Transaction(s)] was
successful.”
7. Click the OK button.
8. Click the Window drop-down arrow.
9. Click the Close All list item.
