Finding and opening forms

Part 1: Use the Open icon
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar. The Select Form dialog box opens.
2. Type items in the Filter field.
Typing the first few letters of a forms name allows you to quickly locate a form name in a 
long list of names. You can use the up and down arrow keys or the scroll wheel to navigate 
through the list of forms.
3. Use the scroll bar to locate the Items form.
4. Double-click the Items list item. The Items (Filter in Place) form opens.
5. Click the Filter in Place icon. The form refreshes and details about the first record in the list are 
displayed.
6. Click the Close (X) button on the Items form. 
Part 2: Use Form drop-down
1. Click the Form drop-down arrow on the Menu bar. Note: any previously opened forms are 
displayed below the Sign Out list item.
2. Click the Open list item. The Select Form dialog box opens.
3. Type purchase orders in the Filter field.
4. Use the scroll bar to locate the Purchase Orders form.
5. Click the Purchase Orders list item.
6. Click the OK button. The Purchase Orders (Filter in Place) form opens.
7. Click the Close (X) button on the Purchase Orders form.
Part 3: Use Ctrl + O
1. Press Ctrl + O on the keyboard. The Select Form dialog box opens.
Note: The text ‘purchase orders’ is still in the Filter field. Anytime you open the Select Form 
dialog box, the last Filter search will di
