3. Click the Campaigns list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Campaigns (Filter in Place) form opens.
5. Type [your campaign number] in the Campaign field.
6. Click the Filter in Place icon.
7. Click the Send Communications button. The Communication Wizard (Modal) form opens with
your campaign number populated and read-only.
8. Click the Communication Type drop-down arrow.
9. Click the Promotion list item.
10. Click the Communication Method drop-down arrow.
11. Click the Email list item.
12. Click the Next button. A list of all contacts associated with this campaign displays.
13. Click the Next button.
At this point you can either select a word template or create your own communication message.
14. Type Discover the Thrill of Speed with Our New Racing Bikes Line! in the Subject field.
15. Click in the Message field.
16. Click the Merge Field drop-down arrow.
17. Click the Company list item.
18. Click in the Message field.
19. Press Enter two times.
20. Type Dear in the Message field.
21. Click the Merge Field drop-down arrow.
22. Click the First Name list item.
23. Type the following message into the Message field.

24. Click the Next button. A dialog box opens with the message, “Communications will be created.”
25. Click the Yes button. The Communication Wizard (Modal) form displays.
26. Click the Topic drop-down arrow.
27. Click the Announcement list item.
28. Verify Email is selected in the Type field.
29. Verify the Save To Sales Contacts check box is selected.
30. Click to select the Save To Campaign check box.
31. Click the Finish button. The Communication Wizard (Modal) form closes, and you are returned
to the Campaigns form.
32. Click the Communications tab.
Your campaign communication content displays.
33. Click the Close (X) button on the Campaigns form
