Set up a master site

Part 1: Create a master site
1. Sign in to the system using the MSCSite1 site.
2. Click to open the Intranets form.
3. Click the Filter In Place link.
4. Click the Intranet drop-down arrow.
5. Click the EDUMS list item.
6. Click the Master Site drop-down arrow.
7. Click the MSSITE1 list item.
8. Click the Save button. 
9. Click to open the Replication Management form.
10. Verify that MSSITE1 displays in the Master Site field. Notify your instructor if it does not.
11. Click to select Regenerate Replication Triggers. A “Replication Triggers Regenerated 
Successfully” message displays.
12. Click the OK button.
13. Click to open the Intranet Shared Tables form.
NOTE: If the “This form is not applicable if all sites are in the same database. Form will be 
closed” message is displayed, proceed to Part 2. Else proceed with steps 14 thru 22.
14. Click the Filter In Place link.
15. Click to select the EDUMS intranet.
16. Click the Replication Category drop-down arrow.
17. Click the G/L list item.
18. Click Select By Category.
19. Repeat steps 14-16, changing the value in the Replication Category field by selecting the 
following:
• Ledger Consolidation 
• Ledger Detail
• Site Admin
• Shared Currency
20. Click the Save button. This enables the process button.
21. Click the Process button.
22. Click the OK button.
23. Click the X button to close the form.
Part 2: Regenerate replication triggers
1. Click to open the Replication Management form.
2. Click Regenerate Replication Triggers. A “Replication Triggers Regenerated Successfully” 
message displays.
3. Click the OK button.
