Set up commissions

Part 1: Confirm commissions are due at time of invoicing
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar. The Select Form dialog box opens.
2. Type order entry parameters in the Filter field.
3. Click the Order Entry Parameters list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Order Entry Parameters form opens.
 Verify the Commission Due on Payment check box is not selected.
5. Click the Close (X) button on the Order Entry Parameters form.
Part 2: Add the employee to the to the Salespersons form
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type salespersons in the Filter field.
3. Click the Salespersons list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Salespersons form opens.
5. Click the New icon. 
6. Type [your initials]SVH in the Salesperson field.
7. Click the Classification drop-down arrow.
8. Click the New list item. 
9. Click the Sales Manager drop-down arrow.
10. Click the CPR list item. 
11. Click the Reference Number drop-down arrow.
12. Click the 5 list item.
13. Click the D/E Code drop-down arrow.
14. Click the COM list item.
15. Click the Save icon.
16. Click the Close (X) button on the Salespersons form. 
Part 3: Define the employee’s commission structure 
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type commission table maintenance in the Filter field.
3. Click the Commission Table Maintenance list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Commission Table Maintenance form opens.
5. Click the New icon.
6. Type [your initials]SVH in the Salesperson field.
7. Type * in the Product Code field. 
8. Type 6 in the first Commission % field. Note: All items will get 6% commission. 
9. Click the Save icon.
10. Click the Close (X) button on the Commission Table Maintenance form
