Work with Dataview files

Part 1: Save the DataView
1. Select Layout > Save As. The Save As pop-up window opens.
2. Type a Name, whether you want this new dataview to be the Default layout and select the 
required Scope Type.
3. Click OK. 
4. Close the DataView Results form. 
5. Close the DataViews form. 
Part 2: Open a saved DataView
1. Open the DataViews Form.
2. Click Filter in Place. 
3. Select the Customer Order Lines dataview. 
4. Select the layout you saved in Part 1.
5. Click Launch.
6. Verify the DataView layout you saved opens. If it does not, select Layout > Select and select
your saved layout. 
Part 3: Print or send the DataView
1. Select Print > Print Preview. The Print Preview window opens. 
2. Scroll to see the pages in the preview. 
3. Click OK. 
4. Send Send To > Excel. An Excel® spreadsheet opens with the data loaded. 
5. Click the plus sign (+) to expand the data in the respective row.
6. Close the Excel spreadsheet. 
Note: Do not save the file. 
Part 4: View the DataViews Setup form
1. Click Setup. The DataViews Setup form opens. 
2. View the two IDOs that comprise the DataView. 
3. Close the DataViews Setup form. 
4. Close the DataView Results form. 
5. Close the DataViews form.
