Create work centers

Part 1: Create the welding work center
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar. The Select Form dialog box opens.
2. Type work centers in the Filter field.
3. Click the web.WorkCenters list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Work Centers form opens.
5. Click the New icon.
6. Type [your initials]-DWW in the Work Center field.
7. Type Welding in the Name field.
8. Click the Department drop-down arrow.
9. Click the 200 list item.
Note: The department selected will not have an effect on scheduling. Any department can be 
selected.
10. Click the Resource Groups menu option.
11. Click the Group field in row 1 of the grid.
12. Type [your initials] in the Group field.
13. Click the Group drop-down arrow.
14. Click the [your initials]-DCBT-RGW list item.
15. Click the Save icon.
16. Click the Scheduling menu option.
Part 2: Create the painting work center
1. Click the New icon.
2. Type [your initials]-DWP in the Work Center field.
3. Type Painting in the Name field.
4. Click the Department drop-down arrow.
5. Click the 200 list item.
6. Click the Resource Groups menu option.
7. Click the Group field in row 1 of the grid.
8. Type [your initials] in the Group field.
9. Click the Group drop-down arrow.
10. Click the [your initials]-DCBT-RGP list item.
11. Click the Save icon.
12. Click the Scheduling menu option.
Part 3: Create the assembly work center
1. Click the New icon.
2. Type [your initials]-DWA in the Work Center field.
3. Type Assembly in the Name field.
4. Click the Department drop-down arrow.
5. Click the 100 list item.
6. Click the Resource Groups menu option.
7. Click the Group field in row 1 of the grid.
8. Type [your initials] in the Group field.
9. Click the Group drop-down arrow.
10. Click the [your initials]-DCBT-RGA list item.
11. Click the Save icon.
12. Click the X on the Work Centers form
