Create item revision

Create item revision

1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type change item in the Filter field.
3. Click the Change Item Revision list item. 
4. Click the OK button. The Change Item Revision form opens. 
5. Type sa* in the Item field.
6. Click the Item drop-down arrow.
7. Click the SA-61500 list item.
8. Type REV-1 in the New Revision field. 
If you wanted to update your drawing number, you have to create an engineering change 
notice item and select item as the type. The engineering change notice item would have to 
be approved and posted.
9. Click the Process button. A dialog box opens with the message, “Not one Item Revision where 
Item is SA-61500 and Revision is REV-0 exists. 0 ECN Line Item(s) were displayed.”
10. Click the OK button.
11. Click to select the Commit radio button.
12. Click the Process button. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Change Item Revision] was 
successful.”
13. Click the OK button.
14. Click the X on the Change Item Revision form
