Create two purchase orders and receive the AL-10000 to create a supplier receiver

Part 1: Set First Article Receiver parameter
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type enterprise in the Filter field.
3. Click the Enterprise Parameters list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Enterprise Parameters form opens. 
5. Click to select the Create First Article receivers check box.
6. Click the Save icon.
7. Click the Close (X) button on the Enterprise Parameters form.
Part 2: Set up two purchase orders and lines
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type purchase orders in the Filter field.
3. Click the Purchase Orders list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Purchase Orders (Filter in Place) form opens. 
5. Click the (Filter in Place) icon.
6. Click the New icon.
7. Type [your initials]? in the PO field. For example, TP?. 
This creates a PO using your initials and the next available PO number in the sequence. 
8. Click the Vendor drop-down arrow.
9. Click the 2 list item.
10. Click the Save icon.
11. Click the Ellipsis (…).
12. Click the Lines button. The Purchase Order Lines (Linked) form opens.
13. Type al* in the Item field.
14. Click the Item drop-down arrow.
15. Click the AL-10000 list item.
16. Type 100 in the Ordered field.
17. Click the Save icon.
18. Click the Close (X) button on the Purchase Order Lines (Linked) form. You are returned to the 
Purchase Orders form.
19. Click the New icon.
20. Type [your initials]? in the PO field. 
21. Click the Vendor drop-down arrow.
22. Click the 1 list item.
23. Click the Save icon.
24. Click the Lines button. The Purchase Order Lines (Linked) form opens.
25. Type cg* in the Item field.
26. Click the Item drop-down arrow.
27. Click the CG-10000 list item.
28. Type 100 in the Ordered field.
29. Click the New icon.
30. Type cp* in the Item field.
31. Click the Item drop-down arrow.
32. Click the CP-10000 list item.
33. Type 100 in the Ordered field.
34. Click the Save icon.
35. Click the Close (X) button on the Purchase Order Lines (Linked) form.
36. Click the Purchase Order Report button.
37. Click to select the Post Status Changes check box.
38. Click the Purchase Order Starting drop-down arrow.
39. Click the [your 1st PO number] list item.
40. Type [your initials]* in the Purchase Order Ending field.
41. Click the Purchase Order Starting drop-down arrow.
42. Click the [your 2nd PO number] list item.
43. Click the Print button. The Purchase Order Report opens in a new tab.
Review the report.
44. Click the Close (X) button on the report tab to close. 
45. Click the Close (X) button on the Purchase Order Report form. You are returned to the 
Purchase Orders form. Note: the status is still Planned.
46. Click the Actions drop-down arrow on the menu bar.
47. Click the Refresh current list item. This refreshes the current record only. The status is now 
Ordered. 
48. Click the Close (X) button on the Purchase Orders form.
Part 3: Perform purchase order receiving
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type purchase order receiving in the Filter field.
3. Click the Purchase Order Receiving list item. 
4. Click the OK button. The Purchase Order Receiving form opens.
5. Type [your initials]* in the PO Number field.
6. Click the PO Number drop-down arrow.
7. Click the [your 1st PO number] list item.
8. Click to select the Select check box on Line 1.
9. Click the Receive button. A dialog box opens with the message, “Transaction Date must be 
between [mm-dd-yyyy] and [mm-dd-yyyy]. Should [Update] be performed?”
10. Click the Yes button. The QC Receipt Tags Report opens in a new tab.
11. Click the Close (X) button on the report tab to close. A dialog box opens with the message, “1 
Pending PO Receiving Transaction(s) were posted.”
12. Click the OK button. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Create Receiver] was successful for 
AL-10000 that has [Receiver Num: XXX] and [Location: QC INSP].”
13. Click the OK button. The Supplier Receiver Information form automatically opens.
14. Click the Close (X) button on the Supplier Receiver Information form. An Add Lot dialog box 
opens, which allows you to select a Manufactured date, which calculates the Expiration Date with 
the Item’s Shelf Life. (The Manufactured Date defaults to today’s date) You can also define a 
Transaction Restriction Code.
15. Click the OK button.
16. Click the Close (X) button on the Purchase Order Receiving form.
