ECN Setup

Part 1: Create ECN reason codes
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar. The Select Form dialog box opens.
1. Type ecn reason in the Filter field.
2. Click the ECN Reason Codes list item. 
3. Click the OK button. The ECN Reason Codes form opens. 
4. Click the New Icon.
5. Type 06 in the Code field. Note: this is a three digit alphanumeric field.
6. Type Incorrect dimensions in the Description field.
7. Click the New Icon.
8. Type 07 in the Code field.
9. Type New enhancement to product in the Description field.
10. Click the New Icon.
11. Type 08 in the Code field.
12. Type Change in customer specification in the Description field.
13. Click the Save icon. 
14. Click the X on the ECN Reason Codes form.
Part 2: Create ECN Priority Codes
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type ecn priority in the Filter field.
3. Click the ECN Priority Codes list item. 
4. Click the OK button. The ECN Priority Codes form opens. 
5. Click the New Icon.
6. Type 05 in the Code field. Note: this is a three digit alphanumeric field.
7. Type Within Next MPS in the Description field.
8. Click the New Icon.
9. Type 06 in the Code field.
10. Type Within Next Planning Horizon in the Description field.
11. Click the Save icon. 
12. Click the X on the ECN Priority Codes form.
Part 3: Create ECN Distribution Codes
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar. The Select Form dialog box opens.
2. Type ecn distr in the Filter field.
3. Click the ECN Distribution Codes list item. 
4. Click the OK button. The ECN Distribution Codes form opens. 
5. Click the New Icon.
6. Type 07 in the Code field. Note: this is a three digit alphanumeric field.
7. Type Outside Vendors in the Description field.
8. Click the Save icon. 
9. Click the X on the ECN Distribution Codes form
