Approve an ECN

Approve an ECN

1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type change ecn in the Filter field.
3. Click the Change ECN Status Utility list item. 
4. Click the OK button. The Change ECN Status Utility form opens. 
5. Verify Requested is selected in the From Status field.
6. Verify Approved is selected in the To Status field.
7. Click the Starting ECN drop-down arrow.
8. Click the [your ECN] list item.
9. Click the Process button. A dialog box opens with the message, “1 Engineering Change 
Notice(s) were processed.”
10. Click the OK button. Review the ECN entry in the grid to make sure that it is the correct ECN to 
approve.
11. Click to select the Commit radio button.
12. Click the Process button. A dialog box opens with the message, “1 Engineering Change 
Notice(s) were processed.”
13. Click the OK button.
14. Click the X on the Change ECN Status Utility form
