Part 1: Turn on revision tracking
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type items in the Filter field.
3. Click the Items list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Items (Filter in Place) form opens.
5. Type sa-61500 in the Items field.
6. Click the Filter in Place icon.
7. Click to select the Revision Track check box.
8. Click the Save icon.
9. Click the X on the Items form.
Part 2: Create ECN
1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar.
2. Type engineering ch in the Filter field.
3. Click the Engineering Change Notices list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Engineering Change Notices (Filter in Place) form opens.
5. Click the Filter in Place icon.
6. Click the New Icon.
7. Type [your name] in the Originator field.
8. Click the calendar icon in the Effective Date field. A calendar displays with the current month
and year visible.
9. Click the [first day of the next month] option. The Effective Date field populates.
10. Click the Priority drop-down arrow.
11. Click the 01 list item.
12. Click the Reason drop-down arrow.
13. Click the 07 list item.
14. Click the Distribution drop-down arrow.
15. Click the 03 list item.
16. Click the Save icon.
These fields are all referenced fields and are not required. They are useful for reporting purposes.
17. Write down your ECN number ___________.
18. Click the X on the Engineering Change Notices form
