Calculate depreciation

Part 1: Calculate depreciation
1. Click the Open icon. The Select Form dialog box opens.
2. Type fixed asset gen in the Filter field.
3. Click the Fixed Asset Generate Depreciation Calculation list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Fixed Asset Generate Depreciation Calculation form opens.
5. Type [your initials] in the Starting Asset field.
6. Click the Starting Asset drop-down arrow.
7. Click the [your asset number] list item.
8. Press Tab. The Ending Asset field populates with your asset number.
9. Click the Process button. A dialog box opens with the message: “1 Fixed Asset(s) were 
processed.”
10. Click the OK button.
11. Click the Close (X) button on the Fixed Asset Generate Depreciation Calculation form.
Part 2: View the depreciation amount for the company jet
1. Click the Open icon. The Select Form dialog box opens.
2. Type fixed asset d in the Filter field.
3. Click the Fixed Asset Depreciation list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Fixed Asset Depreciation (Filter in Place) form opens.
5. Type [your initials]* in the Asset Number field.
6. Click the Asset Number drop-down arrow.
7. Click the [your asset number] list item.
8. Click the Filter in Place icon. The record for asset [your initials]-J23478 opens.
9. View the Curr Period Depr amount field to see the depreciation generated. 
10. Click the Close (X) button on the Fixed Asset Depreciation form
