1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar. The Select Form dialog box opens.
2. Type invoices debits and credit memos in the Filter field.
3. Click the Invoices, Debit and Credit Memos list item.
4. Click the OK button. The Invoices, Debit and Credit Memos form opens.
5. Click the Filter in Place icon.
6. Click the New icon.
7. Click the Customer drop-down arrow.
8. Click the 11 from the list.
9. Press the tab key.
10. Type 4000 in the Amount field.
11. Type 3.75 in the Freight field.
12. Type 250 in the Misc Charges field.
Click the Save icon. The system-assigned invoice number and the default account numbers
display on the form. Write the invoice number down ________________.
13. Click Actions on the menu bar.
14. Click Notes for Current.
15. Type Notes into the Subject field on the Object Notes Object Notes (Linked) form.
16. Type “This is the agreed amount that customer will pay per their Account Manager, Lucy Sharp.”
In the Note field.
17. Click the Save icon.
18. Click the X on the Object Notes form.
19. Click the Generate Distribution button. A dialog box opens with the message, “[Generate
Distributions] will be performed.
20. Click the OK button. A dialog box opens with the message, “[A/R Invoice Distribution] was
successful.”
21. Click the OK button.
The invoice can’t be printed until it is posted. Print the invoice using the A/R Invoice
Credit Debit Memo Report. .
22. Click the X on the Invoices, Debit and Credit Memos form.
